Self-Defense Training

Self-Defense Training

Bexar County Constable – Precinct 3 offers free Self-Defense classes in Bexar County.

Various HOAs, private groups, businesses, churches, and PTAs have trained with Precinct 3 officers since the training was implemented over a year ago.

The safety of Bexar County citizens is our top priority; one way we can improve their safety is helping our citizens learn how to defend themselves. Precinct 3 will have open enrollment courses year-round throughout the Precinct 3 area where we will post information about on Nextdoor, Facebook, and Twitter. Be sure to follow us on those social media platforms if you are interested in taking a course with Bexar County Precinct 3 officers.

Each class is 1 hour and 30 minutes. In that time, officers will teach hands-on self-defense maneuvers designed to teach life-saving skills from sexual assault, kidnapping, and home invasion—as well as basic situational awareness.

If you are interested in a private class of 10 or more, please visit our services page located at the top menu and fill out the Training/Speaker Request Form. Please email the form to Captain Roberts at [email protected].
